The Gypsy Lounge, located in the back of the gallery, is where we bring together art, coffee, and community through a myriad of art and music shows.

What is the Gypsy Lounge like?
The Gypsy Lounge is a relaxed, smoke and alcohol-free cozy space that fits forty-two seated or sixty to seventy standing. Our atmosphere is casual and friendly. During a show, out of great respect for the music and the performer, we ask for the audience's undivided attention. It's this combination of informality and deep appreciation for the music that makes the Gypsy Lounge unique and which attracts performers and audiences.

Are children allowed?
Most shows are geared to all ages. We do ask that children be able to remain quiet throughout the performance so that the rest of the audience can fully appreciate the show. If you have questions about the suitability of a particular show, please contact us by phone.

Do I have to have a reservation?
We don't take reservations. Seating is on a first-come basis. Because we have a small space, we ask that you arrive early to ensure a seat.

What's the ticket price?
Except on rare occasion, our shows are free. We pay the performer a small stipend. We ask that you pay them by being attentive and respectful. You are welcome to leave tips for the performer.

What type of shows do you have?
As a supporter and promoter of worldly cultures, we provide music from all genres. Our shows in the past have included classical Brazilian, jazz, Indian, Middle-Eastern, American folk, and Spanish rock.

What kind of food and drinks do you serve?
Our espresso bar offers certified fair-trade and organic coffee, teas, and specialty drinks. Please arrive early if you'd like to order a drink before the show begins. We do not, at this time, offer food but there are a variety of restaurants within walking distance should you wish to dine before or after the show.

Is the Gypsy Lounge open only during shows?
The Gypsy Lounge is open any time the gallery is open (Mon-Thurs 10-7, Fri-Sat 10-6, Sun 12-5). At any time, you are welcome to order a drink from our espresso bar, use our free Wi-Fi, and relax in our lounge.

How can I support what you do?
We have a very small staff and could always use some help during concerts to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer as a greeter, usher, or with other more glamorous things such as cleaning before and after a show.
